Emily Jane Smith Walker, 94, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother passed away of natural causes on December 12, 1982, at the home of a granddaughter in Morgan, Utah.
Born September 11, 1888, in Salt Lake City to President Joesph F. and Julina Lambson Smith. Married John William Walker, May 5, 1917, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by: sons and daughters: Mrs. Charles J. (Julina) Lepley, Morgan, Utah; Mrs. Victor H. (Edith) LeCheminant, Harmon S. And Elliot S. Walker, all of Salt Lake City; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters: Samuel and Silas Smith, Mrs. LeRoy (Rachel) Taylor, Mrs. William T. (Edith) Patrick, and Mrs. Campbell (Marjorie) Brown, all of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 1982, in the University Ward Chapel, 160 University Street. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday at the ward, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
