ATHERTON, California–Julian C. Smith passed away April 1, 1987 in Palo Alto, Calif.

Husband of Rita C. Smith of Atherton, California; father of Dr. Brian Wesley Smith, Salt Lake City, Dr. Monte John Smith, Sunnyvale, California; Marc Alan Smith, Provo and Michael Scott Smith, a missionary in Hawaii; grandfather of eight; brother of Elias W. Smith and Dr. Donald E. Smith, both of Salt Lake City, Mary Ellen Vandner, Ft. Worth, Texas, Mildred Snow, Salt Lake City and the late Eloise S. Dupalx.

A native of Salt Lake City, aged 59 years.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, April 9, 1987 at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Entombment: Salt Lake Memorial Mausoleum. Contributions to the Boy Scouts of America may be made in his memory.
