The largest age difference that has existed between two consecutive Church presidents is with Presidents Lorenzo Snow and Joseph F. Smith. President Snow, the fifth Church president, was 24 years and 7 months older than President Smith, the sixth president. The smallest age difference was between John Taylor, the third president, and Wilford Woodruff, the fourth president. They differed in age by only 1 year and 8 months.
