A Message to Calvin

By Joseph F. Smith

“My dear son Calvin, I have received this morning your most welcome favor of the second instance and have read its contents with a great deal of interest. I’m glad to know from your communications how well you feel and how well satisfied you are with the labors which you have to perform. Your mother was here this morning while the letter was being read to me and was extremely pleased to hear from you. We are all improving in health and we all send our kindest love to you. May the Lord bless you, my boy, and keep you from all harm and prosper you in your labors is the earnest desire of your affectionate father.”
